I am suffering from this depression and enormous loads of credit card debt

The lending companies are seriously struggling at this moment and because of this are passing down their problems on to the typical American. They are lowering credit lines, increasing APR’s, and holding back on lending all together. This is creating a huge problem for everyone of us who hold credit cards and charge on them all the time. I feel as if my credit cards are becoming heavier and heavier every time I go to use them because of the infinite rising interest rate. Even if I wanted to conduct a balance transfer, I cannot because the other institutions with reduced rates aren’t allowing them at the moment. So I’m trapped using the cards I’m already used to relying on, at an elevated interest rate. It is getting to the point that I might need to let the bills go delinquent and retain a debt relief company to negotiate the bills. I was fine paying on the cards before this financial meltdown, before the banks were tying my hands together.
